ARC 1 is our Additional Resource Class (KS1). It is taught by Miss Makel and supported by Miss Bailes and Mrs Everrett.
School Day
The school day in the ARC begins at 8:30am.
Children will be met at the main reception, where staff will escort them safely to the classroom. If children are arriving to school on the school bus they will be brought in by a member of ARC staff.
Home time is at 2:45pm. Children who depart from school on the school bus leave at 2:30pm.
Each child is entitled to a free piece of fruit every day.
If your child would like to have milk, please make payment through the ParentPay app.
Please ensure your child brings a water bottle to school each day, filled with water only.
P.E.
Our P.E. day is Thursday.
We also enjoy Commando Joe sessions — no P.E. kit is required for these lessons.
For regular P.E. sessions, children should wear the correct kit. This should be kept on their peg for the half term in case of any timetable changes:

Class Dojo
We will continue to use Class Dojo across the school as our main method of communication with parents and carers. Regular updates, photos, and reminders will be posted to our Class Story throughout the year to keep you informed and involved in your child’s learning journey.
