Every day, to set Year 6 up for our afternoon lessons, we take to the field and enjoy a Daily Mile. We run at our own paces, to keep our bodies and minds healthy. During recent runs, we have discussed our circulatory system and what happens scientifically to our bodies when we exercise; this is linked to our current science topic, ‘Why is the heart the most important pump we own’ . We discussed the positive impact of exercise and what else we could do to improve our overall fitness. Alex G is the current leader, running our track in a speedy 5 minutes 50 seconds. Well done!
