The children in Year 4 worked very hard to make their products to sell at the Summer Fayre.

Year 4 have been doing Tie Dying with Miss Lightfoot and Mrs Bilby. We practiced on a square piece of material using one colour for our wall display, then we will be moving on to Tie Dying a T-Shirt to take home!
]Year 4 have been learning about performance poetry, we chose to perform Don’t by Michael Rosen as he is Miss Lightfoot’s favourite!
The children had such fun performing as a class and in individual groups.
Year 4 children have a weekly gymnastics lesson this term every Wednesday afternoon. A group of children will be picked to take part in a regional gymnastics competition at the end of term.
Year 4 are continuing to read How To Train Your Dragon this term. This week we have been writing a set of step by step instructions on how to catch a dragon!
In Year 4 we do a weekly arithmetic challenge. Lewis loves anything to do with numeracy. Here is Lewis in action, we can almost hear his brain ticking over with concentration!
